I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Aquatic Biology at U.C. Santa Barbara, and have worked in the fields of conservation biology, environmental education, and native plant restoration for a while. I am the Education Director for Russian Riverkeeper, so I am curious about what people are seeing in the Russian River Watershed, Sonoma County and the North Bay. Our mission statement is "to inspire the community to protect the Russian River forever." In my free time, I enjoy surfing, mountain biking, photography and hiking with my wife and little girl, where every day seems fresh and exciting through her eyes.
