I am a naturist and author with degrees from the University of Arizona in biology and creative writing. I've published five books on nature from the University of Arizona Press and my sixth book, Chasing Arizona, is forthcoming in February 2015 from UA Press.

I live in an 1890s stone house outside of Bisbee, AZ, in the Mule Mountains where I observe wildlife including 140 species of birds for the yard.
