I am a long-standing student at the University of the Natural World here in New England. Despite attending outdoor classes 250 plus days a year for several decades, I have yet to graduate and am continuing to learn more everyday. My time is spent equally on freshwater lakes, rivers and ponds, the Gulf of Maine and also the forests of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. New Englands native ecosystems are rapidly changing with the spread of invasive species and climate change. It is my hope that contributing observations to Inaturalist will add to the scientific understanding of these environmental changes. One of my hobbies is running moth lights from March through October to catalogue moth diversity in southern New Hampshire. On most of my outdoor excursions I carry multiple cameras. Some of the images I capture can be found on my Instagram page, @Reillymccue.
