Amateur (but dedicated) naturalist

I've been watching birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, fish, butterflies & dragonflies in Europe for 13 years now and I try to visit other parts of the world whenever I get the chance.
I work as a a teacher and visual artist and in my work I deal with issues like genetic engineering, human ecology and our relationship to the natural world and each other.

~ A fish in its natural habitat performing its natural behavior is a thousand times more valuable than a fish in the hand. (or on your plate) ~
