I am a high school student from Cape Town, South Africa. I have a keen interest in the indigenous flora of Southern Africa, although my primary focus is on the Greater Cape Floristic Region around the Western Cape province of South Africa. My interests also involve invasive species management, as well as most other things to do with nature conservation in general.

As a committee member of the Friends of Tokai Park (FoTP), I regularly join in on volunteer hacking events to remove invasive alien plant species that pose a threat to the Critically Endangered Cape Flats Sand Fynbos - the dominant vegetation type occurring within Lower Tokai Park's borders.

I recently completed a project on the Endangered Psoralea fascicularis (my Wikipedia page), of which the write-up book can be found here and the presentation there.
