Undergrad and grad biology major with emphasis in botany. B.S. in Medical Technology (1983). In the (many) years following I have become an avid birder with a keen interest in many insect families especially Lepidoptera. I try to photograph nature as much as possible as a record of what I have observed. I presently live in Arizona but have lived in Maryland for 19 years prior as well as Colorado, Oregon, Washington and grew up in the San Francisco, CA Bay Area. My husband and I have also lived in Taiwan and Germany for a total of 5 years. We have been fortunate to have visited all 7 continents.
