I'm one of those plant people. I grew up in California's great Central Valley, spent a good amount of time on California's North Coast, a shorter amount of time in the Sacramento area, and now I find myself in Northern Nevada.

I am currently working as a Native Seed Intern for The Great Basin Institute in conjunction with the Bureau of Land Management as a part of the national Seeds of Success program. I'm out and about in Northern-Central Nevada scouting native plant populations eligible for collection according to SOS protocol to be used for restoration and research. It's been quite the journey to get here and I am so happy to be starting out in the botany field.

A.S. in Environmental Conservation at American River College in Sacramento, CA (2018).
B.A. in English Literature from Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA (2015).

Proud member of California Native Plant Society (volunteer at the Sacramento Valley Chapter's Elderberry Farms Native Plant Nursery in 2017-2018), Northern California Botanists, and California Invasive Plant Council.
