I now live in Memphis, TN , where we moved just before CoVID.
I wrote my first novel, entitled "Driftless" during the first year of CoVID. It's historical fiction. Set in the Driftless Region of Minnesota. Bluffs, creeks, karst topography, hardwood forests, caves and sinkholes. I now write an authors blog,

We moved off our sailboat in Nov 2019. Memphis has lots of new (to me) plants. Especially trees. Memphis is a city of trees. Over 300 kinds of trees.
I lived on a Saga 43 (sailboat) with my husband and our dog Jax. I became fascinated with taking macro photos of flowers and bugs at that time, ~2015. As we moved up and down the East Coast or Bahamas and Caribbean I found lots of plants and critters that were unfamiliar to me. I have probably, a thousand photos from those areas, as well as my home state, Minnesota.

My user name comes from one of my favorite activities on land, making artisan breads. I have made more than 120 different kinds of bread from around the world.
