Hi! I am a PhD student at Miami University (in Ohio) currently working on projects regarding the taxonomy and biogeography of spring-endemic Gammarus spp. in the southwest along with the nearctic Crangonyctidae. I'm also an avid birder, spending most of my time either looking up at birds or down for invertebrates!

Amphipods are really cool organisms and I would be more than happy to ID any you might need IDed. With a good enough picture (showing the head, palps, antennae, uronites) most 'pods can be IDed to at least genus.

Also if you would like to send me any specimens that would be more than okay as well (many species can only be IDed under magnification or may even be undescribed), just send me a message!
