I'm currently working as a AAAS Science and Technology Policy at the Office of Research and Development of the US EPA where I focus on improving sustainability and resilience at the community level.

I earned my PhD in Interdisciplinary Ecology from the University of Florida where my research focused on microbial ecology related to produce safety. I specifically examined Salmonella interactions with tomatoes and their associated plant pathogens.
