I am a botanist with interests in vascular plant identification, as well as understanding the process of revegetation of sites disturbed by energy development. I am a professor and chair of biology at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where I teach courses in botany, introductory biology, and energy - and serve as the curator for Wilkes's Rosenthal Herbarium (WILK). I am certified as a Senior Ecologist and am a Fellow of the Ecological Society of America. I am also the Past President of the Pennsylvania Biological Survey, and the past Chair of the Pennsylvania Vascular Plants Technical Committee.

I welcome all corrections to any of my observations and identifications.
