Soy antropóloga social por formación, pero las corrientes del Pacífico septentrional me llevaron a las Ciencias Marinas. Investigo las interacciones a largo plazo entre los seres humanos y los ecosistemas marinos integrando el trabajo de campo etnográfico, la investigación histórica y el análisis estadístico.

I am a cultural anthropologist by training, but the currents of the North Pacific led me to marine biology. I am currently a graduate student in Ocean Sciences and Limnology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), researching long-term human interactions with marine ecosystems.
