The word ‘elesulkv’ (ee-lee-SOL-kuh) is a Mvskoke/Maskoke (Creek) word that translates to centipede (or millipede). This word is used in dialects for Muscogee (Creek) and Seminole people living in present-day Oklahoma, but Mvskoke dialects of Seminole people in present-day Florida might use the word ‘elecokpv’ (ee-lee-CHOK-puh).
