Ben is a mathematician and computer scientist. Robbie is an ecologist, horticultural consultant and researcher in biodiversity legislation. Together, we run a small private botanic garden and conservation research nursery in North Wales, UK - www.fossilplants.co.uk
The garden holds significant collection of basal angiosperms, a National Plant Collection of Banksia and has a large number of other Proteaceae from temperate climates around the world.
Most of our botanising takes place locally in Snowdonia and as part of the Anglesey Flora Group, but we also visit Israel regularly and try to get to the Southern Hemisphere as often as we can.
