I just completed a three-year post-doc with the Field Naturalist program at the University of Vermont. Before that I was a river guide, and mostly made up stories about the plants and animals we saw on trips. I still do that some.

My seven year old son Finn is currently very "into" birds and amphibians. He particularly enjoys taking pictures of birds and posting them on ebird. We are just starting to take pictures of other creatures and plants, we are excited to be part of the inaturalist community, and we would appreciate any help with identification!!
