I entered the world of birdwatching after purchasing a digital camera and photographing the woodpeckers in the woods behind my home. I was hooked after I started photographing raptors in flight. I am currently president of our local Audubon chapter (Green Mountain Audubon Society). I monitor a Peregrine Falcon nesting site for Audubon Vermont and participate in other monitoring and conservation activities (Mid-Winter Bald Eagle Survey, Christmas Bird Count, Bobolink survey with UNE). I am working on expanding my knowledge of other types of fauna and adding flora.
