For my M.Sc. I studied the South African nudibranch fauna, updating knowledge using updated distributional data with the help of citizen science and new collections to enable the inclusion of genetic information to underpin existing and new species descriptions, uncover cryptic species, and study the evolutionary and biogeographical history in order to identify processes driving marine biodiversity patterns.
