It was fate...I was born in a house in Audubon, New Jersey and my Dad was a birdwatcher. We had a tray feeder on the kitchen widow by the breakfast table. In addition to birds I do botany, dabbling into lichens and mosses. Then there are butterflies and odes. At one time I was a paleontologist so a bunch of organisms I know are extinct.
