I am a professor of Geography and Geology at Indiana State University. Specifically I am a biogeographer and a dendrochronologist. I use tree-ring to study climate, fire, and insect outbreaks. I also help to promote sustainability efforts in the Wabash Valley. Currently I am teaching a Biogeography class that will be using iNaturalist to examine species diversity at the ISU Community Garden in Terre Haute, Indiana.
