Since joining Friends of Cape of Good Hope in 2010 my uneducated natural love of pretty wild flowers seen while hiking in the Cape Peninsula has increased and stepped up a few levels - i.e. wanting to identify the flowers we see and photograph, remembering botanical names as well as common names - and looking forward to seeing the flowers again each season, like old friends, Joined BotSoc and have been on some field trips with CREW - all great and enjoyable learning experiences. You are never too old to learn with nature!
