I started out as a birder in California in 1988 and added butterflies in 1995. In 1998 I moved to New Hampshire and got pretty seriously into butterflies by participating in the Vermont Butterfly Survey. In 2014 I moved to southeast Arizona and now enjoy birds and butterflies year-round! I don't use a camera so I don't post many observations, but I like to try to ID things (butterflies mostly) other people have posted -- I've learned a lot that way! I also think it would be really great for there to be as many Research Grade observations as possible in iNat, so occasionally I cruise the Casual observations to see if I can help upgrade them.
