I coordinate the Utah Cooperative Agricultural Pest Survey (CAPS) program at Utah State University. CAPS is a national pest detection program whose goals are to 1) safeguard U.S. agricultural and natural resources by ensuring that new invasive pests are detected as soon as possible and 2) provide outreach and education programs that help prevent the introduction and spread of invasive pests.
