A birder and all-around naturalist, I've grown up in Southern Ontario, spent many seasons away as an itinerant field biologist, and am now back in Ontario. Up until 2018 I only had a pocket point-and-shoot camera, so my historical observations are limited to things that let me get close.

I'm looking forward to using iNat to keep track of my records that eBird doesnt cover, give me an excuse to take more photos, and give me a prod to dust off neglected field guides and delve into the ID of groups I'm less familiar with
