I am a botanist (PhD) with a special interest in the conservation of trees generally and in the propagation and conservation of African medicinal plants specifically. Currently I am an Associate Professor of Natural Sciences at the United States International University -Africa (USIU-A) and the work I do with plants seeks to support a newly started School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I have participated in a number of research and training initiatives towards food, energy and water having taught environmental sciences for the last 20 years. Most important I love all things nature in the broad spectrum of organisms and their ecosystem spaces and processes.
