Being a naturalist is my vocation as well as avocation. I am insatiably curious about everything in nature. I am a lifelong student who revels in seasonal changes and experiences great excitement in discovering something new. I love to stumble on some little slice of life- whether it is a dragonfly emerging from its skin or a salamander guarding its eggs or a slime mold oozing its way across a log. I also really enjoy engaging others with the wonders of nature.
