Hello! I am a lifelong nature lover, raised in the Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina. I worked for several years at the Western North Carolina Nature Center as a Naturalist and later moved just south to the foothills of South Carolina with my wonderful wife and children. I love photography also which goes hand in hand with my hobbies in nature. For the past several years I have enjoyed trying to develop more knowlege in wild birds and insects, and most of my posts seem to lean toward those areas, although nothing related to wildlife is out of bounds for me.
