I hike a lot. Mainly in the mountains of New Hampshire, but also in various places in New England. Usually, I get around 300 or so miles on the trail every year. I don't let weather get in the way -- winter is as fine a season to hike as summer, and indeed, some trails are actually easier hiking once a foot or two of snow has covered everything over, leaving a nice, smooth path.

While I love a view from the top of a mountain on a clear day, where the view is limited only by the curve of the earth, I'm equally content looking downward, finding wildflowers alongside the trail, and whatever else shows up. In short, I like to look around.
