I grew up in Northern California in a relatively wild and beautiful area. Wasn't hard to get hooked on pine forests, chaparral, serpentine outcrops and rivers. I studied biology and plant/animal interactions in school. My current interests are bees, ants, butterflies and plants - or anything else alive.
