I enjoy spending a lot of my free time exploring the natural world, mostly in northern New England and previously in the Pacific Northwest (Washington state and northern Idaho). I am currently learning to identify ferns and to identify trees when I can't see their leaves or twigs closely. There are a couple of small wetlands/seeps, as well as other natural communities, near my home that I am also exploring. I welcome input and comments from others.
