Currently I'm working on symbiotic crustaceans in the Naturalis Biodiversity Center, Leiden, the Netherlands. Part-time working on Caribbean Calappa crabs ("box" or "shame-faced" crabs), Streptaxid snails from Western Africa and various other crustacean and gastropod groups. Fieldwork planned to Bonaire (Caribbean), been to Brunei Darussalam, Egypt and Curacao.

Last years I worked on African Streptaxid snails in the genus Ptychotrema (recently described a new species Ennea nigeriensis (https://zookeys.pensoft.net/article/33878/) and relocated the genus Mirellia); worked on the Caribbean box crab Calappa ocellata; and described two new species of Odontonia (https://zookeys.pensoft.net/article/25277/), a caridean shrimp genus found in the seas around Indonesia.

Interested in all invertebrate taxa, but special interest for mollusks and crustaceans.
