I recently completed my BSc in Geography (Honours) at the University of Calgary in spring of 2019. My focus and interests are centralized on urban natures (where do they exist?, how do they function?, and how do people engage with them?, etc.)

In 2016/2017 I was lucky enough to study Urban Ecosystem Sciences at Technische Universität Berlin. I am now living back in Calgary and am more enthusiastic than ever in learning about the anomalies that exist in urban environments. My interests are questions that surround birds, invasive plants, and urban soils.

I am also the lead organizer for Calgary's City Nature Challenge. I will be working to organize CNC YYC 2020. My aim is to unify the spectrum of nature enthusiasts and organizations in the city under the common goal of documenting urban biodiversity. I hope that we can provoke new questions and science about Calgary's unique geography and enhance our ability to manage it appropriately. If you have any questions regarding the project, please feel free to contact me at Check out our Facebook account City Nature Challenge Calgary and our website
