Caught this hatchling wall lizard (named "Wally" even though it's a female) and attempted to keep it as a pet. She lived for a few weeks before she died suddenly of an unknown cause. I was wondering if this species could be kept effectively as pet, hoping that collection of this species in the "wild" in North America could help stop the spread of this invasive species. This particular experiment says no, but this was the only one I was able to capture.
Also, did you know that the COVID-19 pandemic caused a shortage of pinhead feeder crickets? I didn't either, it was super annoying to try and find food for this little guy.
