Description

Pea-ish shrub in renosterveld - Montagu WCape

This is a strange plant. The flowers are minute (about 4 mm long) and hidden in the foliage. I have found flowers on the plant all year round, but one really has to search for them. There are only ever two or three flowers at a time. It has the look of a pea, but could also be a Muraltia I suppose. The branches are long and thin and arched, hanging down. The mature branches are whitish and the young shoots are yellowish.
