Magnificent Tangle

It is hard to photograph and do justice to this plant, covering several square meters, but not of significant height. Judging from the twisted and gnarled bits that are exposed one can assume that the rest of the tree has invaded the rocky plateau underneath it. It is in a tangle of Azima tetracantha, Zygophyllum morgsana amonst others, and is yet another of my cherished bonsai friends, met 18 years ago, and still going strong, much to my delight!
