Observation intended to be under name of "Squamish Observer"
Note the rubbery looking texture and the short stubby tail which looks so similar to a head that the snake can use this feature for defense.
Habitat: open forest (eg. Pinus contorta) near rock cliffs
Location: this rock climbing area is known as the Cheak (Cheakamus R)
