As far as I know, Placer County has five chipmunks: Allen's, Least, Lodgepole, Long-eared, and Yellow-pine. Least has smaller ears and longer tail than this one. Allen's would have more blended colors. Based on large ears and prominent white patch I'm going for Long-eared on this one.
