this was a little tough because it was in a tweener habitat under rock in small mossy seep - not enough or large enough white spotting for slimy and too much white spotting and less sturdy than dusky also without white bar from mouth to throat - the distinct brownish back threw me but checked some Maryland biodiversity picts and seems red backs do look a little brownish in puddles
