Description

The butterflies of the genus Jemadia contain 15 Neotropical species with a pattern of white and blue markings on a dark background, which can easily be confused with some species of genera such as Elbella and Phocides. These butterflies have a very strong and hardy flight and inhabit especially humid landscapes along rivers and streams
