Description

a rough hole in wet clay bank, about 20cm diam and 10cm deep, exposed by large-scale removal of blackberry, honeysuckle and Cape Honey Flower, revealed a metropolis of invertebrates including several of these, other spiders, slaters, cockroaches, millipedes

For scale, image 3 shows two grey-gloved fingertips from top.

Habitat restored by replacing uprooted weeds over hole after observation
