Description

large male. This one was in fencing material used to keep coyotes off the gull colony. Black Widows are incredibly abundant on the Negit islets, peaking in fall. Some years the ground of some islets (Steamboat Iset in particular) are literally glistening with black widow webs. Mostly I see the males above ground. Hundreds. like out of a scary movie.
