Pic 1 shows typical large deposits for size of animal (5-10 kg). Pics 2 & 3 show Aardwolf midden with dry droppings exposed when animal digs a hole to bury a fresh deposit. Pic 4 shows typical contents with small quantity of sand. Usually have an earthy odour, though not pleasant when very fresh. Just for interest, we have located 19 Aardwolf middens (so far) on 1 200 ha, throughout the property.
