New record for the Chatham Islands Flora (see de Lange et al. 2011).

Occasional plants (these up to 0.6 m tall) noted growing along roadside on gravel. the few flowers seen white, scarcely opening. Most plants setting seed or with immature seed. Leaves grey green tinged reddish, finely pubescent, stems, fruits etc also finely pubescent.

Most probably a recent natural arrival to the Chatham Islands.
