4.5mm Tetramorium ant photographed in Karoo veld. Broadly looks like Tetramorium solidum but without the erect pronotal hairs - therefore I venture T signatum. I include a second photo focused on the pronotum confirming the absence of erect hairs which are so conspicuous on T solidum specimens.
