Description

Well, the phone screwed this up, unfortunately, but it definitely was a barking tree frog. This is the northern limit of their range, and the photos was taken during a DNS trip with Jim White. The males were making their distinctive barking calls--I don't remember if this one was calling, but it was actually climbing into a buttonbush just above the water (usually they're at the surface). Large, light green, sticky pads on the toes, white lateral line.
