Description

Spotted Marsh Frog?
Identified as Neobatrachus on Bowerbird by Tamara Leitch: "No, it's way more exciting! :) It's a spadefoot toad, but I'm not sure if it's N. sudelli or N. pictus, as they could both occur at that location. You can tell them from Striped Marsh Frogs by the vertical pupil, and body shape being less dorsally compressed. The main difference between N. sudelli and N. pictus is that N. sudelli has loose skin that extends from the side of the body to the knees, giving it the appearance of having 'baggy pants', but looking at some photos of N. sudelli, it's not always that obvious, so I'm not sure if yours has it or not."
