This Fence Lizard knows me by sight... I know, you don't believe me, but it's true! I pass this tree on a small trail nearly every day that I hike in the park - and I frequently run into this guy at the same spot on that trail, and when he sees me, he runs up into the tree. In the past month, he has seen me coming... run up into his tree (ahead of me - to just above eye level)... and stared me down! Today, he upped his game and attempted to intimidate me by doing "one-handed" push-ups. The expression on his face says it all... What a character!
