Description

Computer vision suggested Diamondback moth, but this was a big creature, well over an inch in length (not including antennae). To my entomologically-naive eyes, it looks darker than Plutella xylostella, and the eyes seem different, too. It flew into the house at night, from a mixed coniferous forest at the edge of the Gatineau River, in western Quebec.
