These are the cheekiest birds - steal cat food if it's close enough to an open door. Each year they seem to modify their call patterns, but after about 3 or 4 years they come back to a previous pattern. I wonder if the call pattern depends upon who is the 'leader' in the area. Although they appear to only travel in pairs or solo, they do congregate together throughout the trees - in their own space.
