Lately I have become fascinated by our feathery friends dining in the river. While watching this Snowy Egret, I could see he was following something in the shallow water, so I had my camera ready. He plunged his beak into the water several times before he came up with this large fish. I then followed his careful progress ingesting this relatively large meal.
