Growing in a well-managed, frequently burned longleaf pine savanna community. A known site for this rare Carolina endemic but didn’t inspect the plant as closely as I’d prefer as I wasn’t aware of what I was looking at at the time. Could be a darker flowered Amorpha herbacea or the rarity. Open to suggestions.
